Overview

Introducing the new MAT 1340, designed by Mark Mills.

This new 44 footer is hot off the drawing board and after an extensive R&D phase, the 1340 offers a modern IRC solution, capable of offshore and inshore racing.
The 1340 is built in conjunction with MAT Yachts in Turkey, who continue to offer high performance, cost-effective boat building solutions, which will ensure this new design has the very best opportunity to succeed.

Particular focus of this new design has been around its IRC potential, with attention being paid to the appendage design, LWL and overall displacement, to ensure this boat excites on the water, whilst also topping out on corrected times.
Given the demand for both inshore and offshore racing, lengthy consideration has been given to both disciplines and the extensive options list really allows an owner to spec the boat to their exact demands, whilst knowing this is a multi-discipline design.

The MAT 1340 showcases modern IRC design, whilst affording owners a well thought out racer/cruiser interior, that is designed by sailors - for sailors.

We now encourage interested parties to come forward and engage with the fantastic team at MAT Yachts, Mills Design and Ancasta Race Boats and we hope to see this new design on the start line in 2021.
